This company develops and manufactures systems that it sells throughout the world to solve industrial measurement and alignment problems. We are engaged by the owners to assist them with the development of their annual operating plan, and guide them in the periodic monitoring of operating results throughout the year. We developed and implemented the internal management reporting system for this company and are consulted on all decisions that might have a financial consequence. We also serve as the primary liaison to the company's bankers.
Formulator and distributor of chemical products.

This company operates from three locations in Connecticut. It formulates and distributes chemical products for swimming pool, industrial, and water treatment applications, and beauty care products for the professional beauty salon industry. The company sells its products to customers throughout the Northeast, and also provides contract packaging services to other formulators of chemical products.
We assist the owners with developing their annual operating plan; and, as with many of our other clients, are actively engaged in the periodic monitoring of operating results during the year. We developed the internal management reporting system for this company. We are involved in all matters relating to the company’s financial management. Over the years we have arranged numerous bank financings for working capital, equipment, and building acquisitions. Some of these transactions have necessitated Small Business Administration guarantees. We have also assisted the company’s original founder with three business acquisitions and most recently, ownership transition to his two sons.
Wholesale and retail sales of plumbing and heating supplies

This company is the largest of its kind in the greater Danbury, Connecticut region. We assisted the owner with his acquisition of this company in 1994. With respect to that acquisition, our services included valuing the company for purposes of making an offer to the seller, negotiating price and terms with the seller, transaction structure, and arranging the bank financing.
Our ongoing services include organizing the development of the company’s annual operating plan, and assisting the owner in analyzing monthly operating results. We developed the internal management reporting system to meet the specific needs of the owner and we work closely with this owner on all matters relating to the financial management of this company, including the recent acquisition and financing of the company’s operating facility. Through our network of professional consulting relationships, we have assisted this owner with the structure and implementation of the company’s employee benefit and retirement plan, including a comprehensive financial plan for the owner.
Manufacture, sales and distribution of high resolution optical inspection and flat field precision measurement systems

This company develops, manufactures, and sells a range of products for various industrial and commercial applications, including in-process manipulation, inspection, and manual assembly. The company’s products are sold through a combination of a direct sales force and manufacturers’ representatives throughout North America, Canada and Mexico. This company is wholly-owned by a British citizen, who also owns and operates an affiliated company in England. We serve as the owner’s “eyes and ears” in the United States. We initiated and assisted U.S management with implementation of the company’s budgetary process, and developed the management reporting system that U.K ownership uses to monitor operations.
